Case - LundIn the university town of Lund in southern Sweden, Thoreb has installed video surveillance cameras onboard buses. The bus operator is only allowed by the authorities to record pictures on certain routes. A solution where the driver had to turn the system on and off manually was first considered, but was not satisfactory. Instead Thoreb integrated the video system with the onboard vehicle computer to automatically control the video surveillance system based on time and location. |
